POP/COP

Problem-Oriented Policing/Community-Oriented Policing:

This 24-hour course covers contemporary policing problems and new strategies and practices for addressing crime and neighborhood disorder. Emphasis is placed on the history, definition, evaluation, and models of community policing. Problem-solving exercises with emphasis on street crimes, situational and environmental crime prevention are used.
